Imelda Mutiso

Imelda Mutiso is an experienced Legal, Tax and Public Policy professional with over thirteen years’ experience. She started her career as an external auditor with KPMG Kenya before switching to tax and legal services where she worked at PwC Kenya rising to the role of Senior Manager, Tax and Legal Services. Thereafter, she joined East African Breweries PLC (EABL) as the Group Head of Tax, looking after all tax matters across one of the largest companies in East Africa, operating two spirits distilleries, six breweries, one malting plant and trading across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan.

Imelda is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and the East African Law Society. She is also a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Kenya (ICPAK). Imelda is also a Certified Secretary and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Kenya and London Chapters.
